Britvic

The Britvic brand can trace its origins to the ‘The British Vitamin Product Company’, which was registered in 1938. In the aftermath of the economic depression, the company recognised the need for an affordable source of vitamin C, so it started to bottle fruit juices so that they stayed fresh for longer, without the addition of preservatives.

The business flourished during the war years, having great appeal to a nation deprived of fruit and fruit juice and in 1947 the Britvic juice brand was launched.

It wasn’t until 1971, however, that the company changed its name to Britvic, in recognition of its leading brand’s appeal. In 1972, the company launched a range of Britvic mixers to complement its juice range and in 1978 Britvic 55 was introduced.

Products

The brand range includes: 100%, Juices & Mixers, Cordials. 100% launched in 2005, the 100% apple and orange range of premium juices is the latest edition to the Britvic range. They are 100% pure juice and not from concentrate – just full of natural goodness - and are best served in a tall glass, over plenty of ice.

Britvic Juices & Mixers is the brand for which Britvic Soft Drinks is best known. Britvic juices, mixers and cordials are enjoyed in pubs, bars, leisure centres and theme parks across the UK.
