Policy on lobbying and Government engagement – unilateral and via trade bodies
Britvic plays an active role in promoting the growth, development and understanding of its business and the wider industry by communicating with the media and assisting informed decision making, engaging with national government, local authorities, the civil service and other relevant organisations.
In addition to our own engagement we also work alongside and support relevant trade bodies within the UK and internationally including the British Soft Drink Association (BSDA), the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) and the Advertising Association (AA), and the Union of European Soft Drinks Associations (UNESDA).
Britvic regularly takes part in working groups with government and non-governmental organisations, in addition to contributing to public consultations on a wide range of issues including taxation and regulation, public health, recycling and sustainability. These consultation responses are publicly available and outline our position on the policy areas in question and other key issues of public interest.
Policy on Political Donations
Britvic does not make political donations to parties, associated bodies or individuals. Monitoring of this is performed by the Corporate Affairs and Legal teams. Britvic will publicly disclose this monitoring regardless of its findings.
