Making a difference together
This is Britvic's school tool kit which many of our employees use when volunteering to present to school children, or when we host schools at our factories.
The school tool kit is ideally aimed at children aged five to nine, but parts of it can be used with older children, to encourage them to design their own drinks, or as inspiration, pages of the presentation can be handed out, or pinned up on walls.
The kit includes a presentation about how soft drinks are made, complete with comprehensive speaker notes to help anyone presenting, and tips of how to use it interactively, encouraging the children to call out and participate.
There is also a drinks worksheet, which the children can use to draw their own drink bottles, and lastly a 'take-home' comic style (thumbnail) chart of the presentation in order to help them remember what they have learned.
