Finance
As you can imagine, handling the finances of a business the size of ours is no small task. The Finance department operates at the heart of the company, working to provide proactive support to all the areas of the business and aiming for a world class balance between effectiveness and efficiency. Our finance team use world class control mechanisms and external reporting, and offer support for major business projects. The team also coach business managers to increase the financial acumen of our employees across all functions to deliver the best return for our shareholders.
With considerable cash and assets to be controlled and reported on, all positions entail significant responsibility, as one person's decision could affect the outcome of critical Board-level actions and impact on shareholder confidence.

IT
We believe in using leading edge technology to exploit business opportunities and create a competitive advantage. Our aim is to make Britvic a great place to work through leading edge technology, and to maintain and protect the technology platform for growth.
Our IT team not only ensure that the company is technologically efficient and smooth running but works in partnership with our key business managers to identify future opportunities and drive major change initiatives. Their work has contributed significantly to improving sales order processing, production and distribution scheduling, and invoicing and cash collection.

Risk Management
A versatile department, Risk Management aims to help the business achieve maximum efficiency wherever possible. Whether it's planning for business continuity or handling crisis management, they'll be there helping to increase long-term profitability. Internal audits also fall under their remit so this is where management turn for an independent appraisal service.

Legal & Estates
As you might have guessed, this is where all legal issues are sorted out. It could be contracts, trademark infringement or property matters - either way, this is the department to come to. Our own team of legal professionals support our senior business managers and commercial teams providing extensive legal advice, ensuring that our legal position is never compromised.

The department constantly endeavours to work in true partnership to meet the needs of our business and our HR organisational design enables us to achieve this through a mixture of centres of excellence and business facing HR professionals. We are working hard to achieve world class HR productivity and managing the shift towards strategic HR contribution to support the organisation’s growth agenda.
The HR function is headed up by our HR Director and is divided into three distinct teams: HR Business Partners (which also encompasses our leading edge HR Service Centre), People & Organisational Development, and Compensation & Benefits. These teams all have individual responsibilities but effectively work together to ensure we enable employee performance, leverage remuneration, build effective leadership, manage and develop talent at all levels to grow capability, and improve personal development opportunities to attract and retain talent.
