Britvic’s early months as a quoted company have been challenging. An unexpectedly sharp decline in the carbonates market post Christmas, certain changes in the customer base and a very competitive pricing environment are the primary factors behind a first half branded revenue fall of 5.3 per cent compared to last year, from £341.5m to £323.5m. Operating profit fell 18.1 per cent from £22.7m to £18.6m and profit before tax from £9.6m to £6.5m. Interim report bookletSlide PresentationWebcast
