Part of Britvic’s strategy is ‘making Britvic a great place to work’ and this is at the heart of our people strategy, with four focus areas:
We measure the effectiveness of our people strategy through our regular employee opinion surveys, which review employee engagement. Targets are set and evaluated against this survey, together with other people measures as part of the HR and functional corporate scorecards.
Britvic supports ‘great place to work’, by respecting employees work life balance and offering family friendly and flexible working policies. We have an employee wellbeing intranet site and employee assistance programme, providing health information and advice. This, together with our occupational health team and health and safety forums, ensures that our duty of care to employees is taken seriously.
We are committed to giving employees a voice through our many communication channels such as regular business performance updates, annual Director presentations to all teams and our employee representative body the Employee Involvement Forums.
The importance of work on people in our business is reinforced by the fact that the HR Director is part of the Executive Committee and reports to the Chief Executive.
Did you know that Britvic’s Flexible Benefits and Family Friendly policies allows employees to tailor their benefits to what is important them, including childcare, healthcare, as well as offering flexible working hours and working from home options.
